You and Me

You and Me

Something draws me to you
What it is I do not know
Though it is so true
When we are together it does show

Once in sight
The world falls silent
Our soul’s do ignite
Until we are spent

Though a low glow lingers
Proof love remains
The dance of fingers
Spreads the glow through veins

The world dissipates to a tone
As recognition of reality begins
That we could not be alone
And smiles turn to grins
