Fallen Angels

Fallen Angels,

They take center stage
No longer content
Bounded by ceaseless rage
Till one day they went

Down to the other plane
Existing among the mortals
Seeing how they reign
The movement of their peddles

A sneer, a smirk, an awkward look
Faced them as they walked through
To the mortals, their security shook
To the fallen, they enjoyed the view

For angels have anger
Though are void of hate
Mortals live off of loathing
Stereotyping to contemplate

“Outcast the Fallen,” the people cry
“Respect us” the angels plead
Mortals shout in fear “ Don’t believe their lie”
The Angels begin to bleed

Not welcome in heaven, To good for hell
Stuck in the middle without a home
As mistrust begins to swell
Each fallen angel does die alone.
