Prince Charming

Prince Charming

Billy boy was no longer a lad
Charming, handsome and sweet
Causing beauty to go mad
For they never knew his deceit

Ladies loved him so
His words would swoon
Only to leave them in woe
With a swollen womb

Then off he would trot
As their tears would flow
Billy would care not
Having taken their glow

Off to charm a younger lass
Who’s mother remained in view
With a bond stronger than brass
Never believing he was true

Yet he continued to court
The three times six aged lady
Asking her to go to port
In a perfect melody

Her mother now worried
Having heard the stories
And learning of his misdeed
From all his former beauties

She gave chase after her daughter
Praying to be on time to help
To not be a parental failure
As she heard her daughter’s yelp

Prince charming grinned with a smile
For his deed was done
Saying to his lass,” I’ll be back in awhile”
When really he was on the run

Turning the corner he bumped into a frying pan
For her mother stood before this scum
“Its time you learn to be a man”
She said as swigged a bottle of rum

Taking them both to her home
Her daughter with his seed
She chained him to a large stone
So he can pay for his greed

He was put to hard labor
Never to leave her child again
No longer to be a drifter
For this is his story’s end
