Writing for Love

Writing for Love,

My hand writes nothing but scribbles
On everything I try to create
Turns to nothing but childish dribbles

I may be a fool summoned by fate
Doesn’t mean this isn’t the start
For passion and love to resonate

There is no distance one can part
That can keep my words from you
For you have already filled my heart

I must show my intentions are true
So that you and I can be together
In one an others lovers view

Do to lovers hurricanes and bad weather
How distrust has wounded me
My heart and soul have turned to leather

Though I can only see
What was forever meant to be
Was the story of you and me.
