Waiting

Waiting

Waiting, Waiting, Waiting
Fully anticipating
That I still hold some value
That I am at least a friend to you

Waiting Waiting Waiting
Its become irritating
Feeling forgotten inside
As disappointment resides

Waiting Waiting Waiting
I have started contemplating
Was it just being a fool again
Thinking I had found worthy friend

Waiting Waiting Waiting
With abandonment’s sting
I deserve at least a reason
Of why I have left to treason

Waiting Waiting Waiting
While my heart is fleeting
quivering from this undeserved punishment
Wondering what it all could have meant

Waiting Waiting Waiting
My soul is dissipating
Falling back into my hardened shell
As I wait here in your created hell.
