Vipers Kiss

Vipers Kiss

I had a friend for many years
She as far from one with fears
Accepting everyone and everything
As she looked for her perfect king

She had made many friends on her travel
Who helped her when she would unravel
Help her continue looking ahead
Keeping her mind far from dread

One day she met a man who stole her heart
None of her friends liked him from the start
He warped her mind with a single kiss
Having her treat her friends lower than piss

It wasnt long before she cast the blame
On what was left of her friends became the aim
For his fist rising against her
For making his anger stir

Her last friend took a chance
Bluntly making his last stance
Against this phony proclaimed king
Saying he was nothing but a viper with a sting

With anger and not wanting to face whats true
Stating” Never supporting us, where were you,
Always telling me he was never any good
You just never ever understood”

Slamming the door in her friends face
Walking away leaving her to her disgrace
The viper then wrapped up his pray
Consuming her soul to this very day.
