Mother’s Lullaby

Mother’s Lullaby

Little one its alright
Mother will hold you tight
Will protect you from the night
Measure your growing height

Causing you great delight
Now soundly sleep tonight
Let your dreams take flight
Free from any dark fright

She will always make things right
Because you are her glowing light
Mother is happy with you in sight
For she loves you with all her might

Written By Shoeless for a friend’s child.
Died before birth, never had a chance
To hear this poem, or feel its mothers love.
