Goldy Locks

Goldy Locks

There once was a young girl
She was a pretty pearl
With her lovely golden curls
She would give them special twirls
Staring at herself for long hours
Wishing her beauty had powers
Thinking how she was prettier than any flower
As the rain began its cooling wet shower
Angry she cursed the sky
Demanding to know why
Her curls would just die
Until her hair was dry.
There once was a young girl
She was a pretty pearl
With her lovely golden curls
She would give them special twirls
She took shelter in an old looking house
Upset as she realized that she was douse
Taking off her soaked blouse
She did see a tiny mouse
Shrieking once she scared it
“go away ugly mouse” she spit
The mouse didn’t move and she threw a fit
Yelling she screamed” I said for you to GET”
There once was a young girl
She once was a pretty pearl
With her lovely golden curls
She would give them special twirls
The mouse scurried off into a hole
Sighing she turned toward the coal
In the old fire place as a whole
Cursing that mouse with all her soul
Lighting a small fire she could give a smile
knowing her hair would be dry in awhile
Quietly the mice began to form a pile
As she focused on her new forming style
There once was a young girl
She once was a pretty pearl
With her lovely golden curls
She would give them special twirls
Staring at the fire with certain glee
She heard the mice say “one, two, three”
They all jumped on her back forcing her to a knee
All began biting making it impossible to flee
Chewing, Gnawing, Clawing her beauty away,
They chose to let her live that horrific day
They let her curls hang down and stay
Figuring she was better off this way
There once was a pretty girl
Now she just makes men hurl
Hidden behind golden curls
That she never gives twirls

Careful who and what you insult, you never know who they know.
