Thursdays Poetry Rally Week 9
A distant chime rings out in each direction
Then every thing becomes still and quite quiet
Then a growing rumbling from every section
Birds take flight to avoid the coming riot
A clearing will soon become a battle field
The Poets and writers begin to emerge
With pins in hand and their poems as a shield
They charge to the center and start to merge
They write comments down on one another’s work
Nominating another for the epic award
A poem so good they make readers go berserk
At the end of the day only one is adored

Well that is what the rally is about in my mind, celebrating other poets talents along with your own. True readers of my work would read some of my other works and comment as well but all kind words are appreciated .
You have hit a true point. Usually readers will just visit the link on the Thursday Rally i.e. your posted poem for the week. I have lots of other work too that nobody is interested in. But I’d love to take a look on your other work as well. Don’t stop writing no matter the quantity of the feedback you’re getting!
